The Navman PiN (Personal Interactive Navigation) combines the latest GPS technology with elegant design to deliver the ultimate cable-free navigation solution. The Navman PiN 570 features a 12 channel WAAS GPS antenna for accuracy down to 9 feet. The PiN 570 has a 3.5” color display that can be switched for optimal viewing in both day and night lighting conditions. The Navman PiN 570 is a touch screen and with the included stylus it makes it simple to operate the GPS portion of the device.

The SmartST 2005 software comes packaged with the PiN 570 and includes detailed mapping for the entire United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Guam on a set of 4 CD-ROMs. The SmartST software will allow you to chose between a traditional overhead 2D view or a 3D view of the road as it is ahead of you. When loaded to the PiN 570, the SmartST 2005 software will allow you to enter your favorite address or point of interest as a destination. The PiN 570 will then provide you with both on screen and vocal turn-by-turn directions to that destination. If you get off track do not worry the PiN 570 will recalculate directions and get you right back on track to your destination.

Since the Navman PiN 570 is a PDA you can integrate your contact and appointment list with the GPS. This will allow you to automatically start navigating to an appointment that has been setup in the PDA with a Contact that has a stored address. The PiN 570 functions as fully capable Pocket PC with its Windows CE operating system and its ability to work with most Pocket PC applications. The PiN is packed with many key features including the 3.5" Color Transflective LCD Display, MP3 Playback, User voice Recording (Mono), Touch Panel Screen, Memory Card Expansion Slot, Lithium Ion Battery and USB port connectivity, delivering all the benefits of a top of the range Pocket PC.
