The MapSource™ MetroGuide USA CD-ROM contains 4 different categories: Businesses, Cities, Landmarks and Marine. These will appear separately on the drop-down menu, but can be loaded into the GPS unit simultaneously. The CD provides the locations of business services throughout the U.S. and Canada, including food and drink, lodging, entertainment, shopping, banks and much more. Information for those services, including address, phone number and description, are supplied. Also included are worldwide cities and worldwide marine navaids such as lights, buoys and beacons. Additionally, U.S. interstate exit information is provided, such as service stations, hotels, restaurants, etc.

MapSource Points of Interest contains:

  • Shows the location of services throughout the U.S. and Canada, including food and drink, lodging, entertainment, shopping, banks and much more.
  • Displays cities worldwide.
  • Contains marine navaids worldwide, and includes lights, buoys, beacons, marinas, mile markers, wrecks, obstructions and hazards for the U.S.
  • Lists address, phone number and description for business listings.
  • Displays U.S. interstate exit information, such as service stations, hotels, hospitals, restaurants and more.
MapSource MetroGuide USA

The trip and waypoint management functions of this product work with nearly all GARMIN GPS units, excluding the GPS 100 family and panel mount aviation units. Specifically, the map download features of this product are intended for use with the eTrex Venture and GPS 76.
