Garmin MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 DVD features digital topographic maps for the U.S., including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Garmin MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 DVD also offers many major enhancements over the previous generation United States Topo product. It allows the user to install the product in full to their PC from a single DVD. This new Topo product is designed for interactive viewing of detailed topographic maps and land elevation contours with elevation shading on the PC with purchase of the DVD. Garmin MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 DVD will also allow the user to view the elevation profile of routes on the PC as well as on compatible GPS units. Garmin MapSource TOPO U.S. 2008 DVD is vector-based and contains descriptive details for features typically found on topographic maps.
